What a beautiful and inspirational article! I have been angry, at times even feeling rage, ashamed, trying to suppress it, not knowing why I have been feeling it so intensely for forever it seems! Now, you have shown me that it is not always 'bad,' that I do not have to fear it, that it can actually be transformed into compassion. Thank you, Shai, for giving me hope!

Thank you, Shai for your dedication and love for humanity. We are greatly indebted to your efforts.
From my experiences, I see that the mind is the greatest barrier even when one experiences a glimpse of the beyond and our clear separation from the mind. It takes a long time to come to understand its mechanism, grow our awareness and simply be an observer to it. The mind plays so many tricks with its polarity nature, taking us to the highest high and the lowest low. I have greatly benefited from a variety of therapy and healing methods along my path. To me, they are necessary to prepare us with strong feet to continue our journey of moving into the unknown. I think an important thing is that one has to realize that one has to continue moving forward, not to be satisfied so soon with the well-being we achieve thanks to the healing process, which is about making the mind healthy and positive.
I know with language, what we want to express will appear limited and often confusing to others, but still, I want to write something :D

Awsome and very true at least for me, ive been guided by you methods of spiritual therapy for both the realizations of spiritual realities and the long term transformation of myself. Eill precedese suffering, chakra qualities, heart powers, are all exactly what is needed for our feelings of weakness, all these are great tools, technuices revelations and simple ways to see how we really work and how powerful we really are, and the more you dive into it the more powerful you realize you actually are. Also the progress really quite naturally leads to the wish for greater growth and expansion and eventually i hope, unity. All and all awesome 😎 thank you some much for your massive contribution to the world and to my own life.

Amazing, completely agree…
All the drugs and alcohol so widespread nowadays are the attempt to run away from life. The inability to fully embody this human form mainly due to the avoidance of pain, is the big modern problem, and moreover ultimately, fully embodying our human form is enlightenment.
A modern psyche that is anchored in the sacredness of all life, of life itself will be born with the new humanity.

I agree to dear Bettina! Absolutely brilliant! Man is the only one in creation with the ability to have a conscience vs animals and plants which are conscious, sure, but the older non-dual approach does indeed lead to a life of negativity, whereas this all-embracing, life-affirming, radically new approach retains the purest essence of non-duality with yes, the relatively small amount of conscious free will we actually have to be used conscientiously and constructively by us, not the other way around. Exquisite, dear Shai! Happy Rosh Ha-Shanah to you all tomorrow! 💓🙏

In reply to <a href="https://shaitubali.com/why-i-admire-tantra/#comment-2">gal</a>.

Dear Gal,

Thank you for your sincere thoughts.

This is a meaningful question, of course. The practices are all out there, in the open, detailed and handed to us by great lamas and published by large publishing houses. So it is clear that the tradition itself has determined to make that which was a secret openly known. I don't think that any of these practices are inherently dangerous, and when I teach or write about them, I hope that I manage to place them in a broad context of wisdom and right intention (that is, not self-improvement but genuine transcendence and absorption in the reality of no-self).

It is true, however, that the best way to learn how to practice them is not from a book but in the right environment of a teacher and a serious process. Those who are drawn to engage in traditional frameworks will naturally take this type of path, but I believe that nowadays there is also room for more essential spiritual journeys that work seriously with ancient knowledge without necessarily taking part in a lineage.

Yours,
Shai
